Friday, October 31, 2008

Here are the free tutorials and full size pattern for making your own felt Oreo Cookie Ice-Cream.

Stitch 2-3mm from the edge around the cookie and leave the threads ends loose.

Pull both ends of the threads till you got a ‘shower cap’ shape then tighten the threads with 2-3 knots.

Repeat the same for the other piece.

Next sew the sides of the ice cream together.

Sew the ice cream to the cookie as shown.

This is how your cookie ice cream should look like at this stage.

Sew the other piece of cookie on leaving an opening for stuffing as shown.

Fill up with fiber filling.

And seal up the opening.

This is how your cookie ice cream should look like at this stage.

Next thread your needle with double strands of treads as shown.

Tie french knots on one side of the cookie.

After tying the knot, insert the needle again close to the same knot and come out at the next point at the opposite side.

Pull out the needle, tie a french knot and repeat last 2 steps till you fill the whole cookie.

And your Felt Oreo Cookie Ice-Cream is finished!!

Put it in the freezer and I'd probably come along and try to eat the thing - looks so real.
